Notice from Town Clerk/Tax Collector:

The Town Clerk – Tax Collectors office will move to “by appointment only” beginning Monday 3/30/2020. We will continue to be here to process on-line transactions and mailed in transactions regular hours Mon - Friday at our regular business hours.

If you have bought a vehicle private sale or from an out of state dealership and need new plates or to transfer your old plates, you may call to make an appointment. Once you arrive for your appointment, we will provide curbside service. You will need a cell phone to let us know you are here and to be on the line with the person completing your transaction.  If you have no cell phone available, please call us for more information.

If you have a 20-day temp plate from a dealership or DMV that was issued after 2/26/2020, it has been extended to be good through 4/30/2020, we will NOT do these by appointment unless there is an emergency reason to do so. They can be done once regular hours resume prior to April 30th.

Renewals can be done on-line for vehicles & dog licenses. Vital Records may be requested on-line, but you will have to scan a completed vital records request form and your Driver’s License will need to be scanned and e-mailed to us at rdickie@farmington.nh.us.

You may call to pay taxes, utilities or tax lien payments over the phone or they can be mailed in. Please call to get the up to date amount due before mailing in a payment for all of these transactions.  The notices that were mailed out on 3/13/2020 DO NOT include interest due.

Farmington Recreation Department

Based on the uncertainty of the COVID-19 gathering restrictions, the Recreation Department will be closed indefinitely. Because of the unknown, we felt we needed to let parents know they may need to make alternative arrangements for afterschool care and summer care

Thank You
