Invitation to Bid
The Town of Farmington, New Hampshire is accepting bids for CY 2010 paving repair projects. Bids will be expected by person, mail, fax or e-mail.

All bids must be received no later than April 14, 2010 at 3:00PM. No late bids will be accepted.
Project Summary:
The proposed work will consist of furnishing all labor, equipment and material necessary to performing roadway repairs. The project will consist of but not limited to the fine grading of the pavement subgrades and the placement of a 2 inch binder and 1 inch of surface asphalt. Joints in the pavement may/ will require grinding and application of asphalt emulsion prior to paving. Other sections of roadway repairs will require the contractor to remove existing pavement, shim with crushed gravel (furnished by Town) and repave with a 2 inch binder coarse and a 1 inch surface coarse. The contractor will be responsible for all safety requirements, such as traffic control and appropriate signage. Work will be performed throughout the construction season. The contractor shall be required to
carry a minimum of One Million ($1,000,000.00) dollars of insurance to be maintained in effect for the duration of the contract. The Town is of the understanding that due to the volatility of the petroleum market and the price of asphalt materials, that a variation in pricing may occur as the paving season progresses. The contractor shall inform the Town of any price increases prior to commencing of any work. The Town Of Farmington reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive technical or legal deficiencies, and to accept any bid that it may deem to be in the best interest of the Town.
