Overview: The goal of this workshop is to give participants a brief overview of
epidemiology, case investigations, outbreak investigations and surveillance systems. We
will finish the workshop with an interactive exercise involving an outbreak investigation.
Target Audience: Health Officers, healthcare professionals, first responders, those
involved in public health emergency response, volunteer agencies, and anyone that wants
to gain general knowledge on the subject.
